I was diagnosed with OAB 11 days ago. Given medicines as well as general advice. I decided to try the general advice before the meds. Started drinking half decaf and half regular coffee, lots more kegels, peeing every 2 hours whether I have to or not, skipping my evening 4 ounce glass of wine, drinking cranberry juice. Hey - it worked - no spasms or "spillage" for the past 3 days! I also didn't know there was anything between a regular pad and Depends and knew I didn't need depends. Try Poise if you are as unaware as I was! I am a 75 year old female.

I have fibromyalgia and one of the many "problems" that come with that diagnosis is an overactive bladder. I have tried many things.....no coffee, decaf coffee, stopping drinking water after 7 PM, but I still have to chande my undies and slacks sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Sometimes i get lucky and the big, bulky pad soaks it up, but more than often it doesn't. I know where every bathroom is in the town nearest me and the city nearest me. I am a 68 year old female.
