If you are suffering from an overactive bladder, you may want to check the acidity level of your urine. A recent study has linked high acidity levels in urine to overactive bladder symptoms. What seems to happen is that when there is a high acid level in the urine, it stimulates the cells in the bladder wall, which then send a neurotransmitter signal to the brain that the bladder is full. This study is the first one to draw a straight connection between bladder function and acid.

Runpee.com a révolutionné la fréquentation des cinémas aux Etats-Unis en indiquant aux spectateurs à quel moment ils pouvaient s'absenter et de combien de temps ils disposaient pour faire leurs besoins sans manquer de passages clés.

Dan Florio, qui a lancé Runpee après être resté cloué à son siège pendant trois heures et sept minutes pour ne pas manquer une miette de «King Kong» en 2005, est «actuellement en train de remodeler le site afin qu'il puisse être compatible avec tous les caractères», a-t-il dit à l'AFP.

FDA releases list of potential drug risks

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. regulators on Thursday listed two dozen drugs, including weight-loss medicines and sleep disorder pills, that it is at an early stage of reviewing for potential safety problems.

The FDA also said Pfizer's overactive bladder drug Detrol was under investigation for reports of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a serious skin reaction.
